2017 MMN CONFERENCE
"Mission is Partnership"

While many objectives of the Network can be achieved with the WEB site and mailing list, nothing can really replace a Face-to-Face meeting to help generate understanding, camaraderie, and encourage sharing.  The Malawi Mission Network was first formed at a Face-to-Face meeting in August, 2003 near Louisville, KY.  We had approximately 30 people at the meeting and we shared what we were all doing and were gladdened to see how much we all had in common but also how much we could learn from each other. Everyone felt this was an extremely valuable opportunity and they wanted to do it again.  Since then the meetings have been growing and improving every year.   

As valuable and interesting as the formal presentations are, probably the most valuable part of the Meeting is the chance to meet and network with others with the same interests as you, and likely very different experiences from which both can learn.

We  have lined up an exciting program for this conference.   We are excited to have Rev.  Levi Nyondo,  who is General Secretary of the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia, as our Keynote Speaker.  We will also have Mary Phiri, from SAFE Africa.  Other speakers are highlighted on the Agenda Page.

Our theme this year is "Mission is Partnership".

Registration deadline is July 6th, 2017.  After that, if space is still available, you may be accommodated (at a higher fee) but you may not get your first choice of room assignments - so register early. After July 18th - only Commuter Registration will be available at all.

LOCATIONS:
While the meeting will be at the  Faith Presbyterian Church of La Vista, NE., housing will be at the Fairfield Inn Papillion and the gathering location for the first day, Thursday, Aug. 10th, will be at the Faith Presbyterian Church of La Vista, NE. These 2 locations are relatively close to each other. We will have free shuttles between these locations as needed.  If you have your own car there, you are free to drive back and forth as there is plenty of parking at both locations.  For those that are flying in, or for anyone else wanting to use it, we will have shuttles available.
